Security.

READ ME!

The article I chose is about the effectiveness of our countries security. In my opinion, we are spending more money and man power trying to stop attacks from outside the country when many terrorists are right here at home. I understand the importance of the measures in place currently, but when will we start advancing the real homeland security issue? The batman terrorist, the Boston bomber, etc are all originating right under our noses.

Obama Overreach

This weeks article is a man names David King who is currently in court trying to fight off the dispensing of health care subsidies. In the article, he and the other plaintiffs argue that the governments is illegally dispensing billions of dollars in health care subsides in 30 states. Also the article states that if a person does not make enough to purchase health insurance then they can file an exemption and not have to pay any penalties. Once again government laws are either for the rich or for the poor and the middle class gets screwed. Interestingly enough the article states that the Obama administration has no rebuttal to the situation and is not attempting to create one. Could you imagine that after all the hype that went into the Obama Care, one person files suit and the whole thing could fall apart. One lawsuit, and think of all the people who could loose their health insurance...

How Dallas Nurse Pham contracted Ebola

http://news.yahoo.com/real-story-dallas-nurse-got-232919860.html

When Ebola hit the news every one was worried about contracting the virus especially emergency rooms and hospitals because thousands of patients come in and out these hospitals with all kinds of viruses. Doctors and Nurses need to be more updated on such precautionary to protect themselves from such deadly viruses. Nurse Pham was told not to worry from executive staff members when she was told to take of Thomas Duncan (first person in the states to have Ebola), but to find out she was not taking the right precautions such as covering all her body from head to toe, so she was exposed and this is what caused her to contract the virus. She was given a sheet of paper and told to read what precautions to take while caring for a patient that has Ebola. Because there was no proper training given to staff about this case staff did not know how to protect themselves. Hopefully all hospitals and emergency rooms are being trained not only how to handle to Ebola, but any virus that the near future sees. I am not saying we can see the future, but there must be some way nurses, doctors and staff can better equip there hospitals with. I would say just as a precaution always protect yourself not only with gloves and face masks, but with proper clothing to be sanitized that is provided by the hospitals to staff members........

Nurse Pham is filing a lawsuit currently ongoing...........
